Socially Responsible

At Daikin Malaysia, we are driven by a strong commitment to creating a lasting, positive impact on our communities, our children, and the nation. Through our focus on sustainable development, we invest in initiatives that promote long-term well-being and progress.

By continuously innovating, building, and supporting essential services, we work to ensure that communities are healthy, educated, and cared for. Our CSR efforts not only contribute to societal growth but also strengthen the bond between our employees and the company—fostering a sense of purpose, pride, and connection to the world for generations to come.

Community Enrichment

As one of our key pillars, we aim to improve the quality of life and well-being of the communities we operate in. This involves initiatives that address social, economic, and environmental issues, promoting positive change and sustainable development.

Key initiatives under this pillar include Tree Planting, charitable donations to the underprivileged, humanitarian aid in response to various crises and healthcare CSR initiatives such as organ and blood donation.

Spearheading Disability Inclusion in the Workforce

In Daikin, we actively involved in promoting disability inclusion in various aspects of our operations and within society. We strive to create a workplace where all individuals, including those with disabilities, have equal opportunities for advancement and feel valued. Hence, Daikin's Code of Conduct explicitly prohibits discrimination based on disability and other characteristics, ensuring a respectful and inclusive workplace.

Access to Training and Skill-Building Programs

Daikin's People-Centered Management (PCM) is a management philosophy that emphasizes employee growth and potential as the foundation for company success. It involves training and development initiatives that foster a culture of empowerment, continuous learning, and individual contribution.

Daikin's Young Leaders Program (YLP) is a comprehensive training initiative designed to develop fresh college graduates into future leaders within the organization. The program focuses on equipping young professionals with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in their careers, with an emphasis on experiential learning and interaction with experienced business leaders.

Additionally, in an effort to uplift the installation skill level of air conditioning in the heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) industry, Daikin Malaysia (Daikin Academy) collaborates with Jabatan Tenaga Manusia (JTM) to introduce the Air-Conditioner Certified Technician (ACCT) Programme. Hence, this program will positively impact the business of Air-Conditioner service provider in Malaysia.
